Adhikar Rally, Pooravanchal, UP: live in better conditions

Bannaras, the epic-center of Pooravanchal, was the venue of our 'ADHIKAR RALLY CUM PROCESSION' on 29th November, 2001

Thousands of Youth activists took out a procession which culminated in a rally outside the office of Commissioner demanding a 'White Paper' on available jobs and immediate recruitments, withdrawal of draconian fee structure, development package for backward areas of Pooravanchal, restarting of closed Sugar Mills as also payment of outstanding arrears, arrest of guilty persons of 'Women Reforms Home Sex Scandal', withdrawal of petty criminal cases registered against minority weaver community and provision of a comprehensive economic package and interest free loans to promote the arts and crafts of Poorvanchal.

Shri Oscar Fernandes, General Secretary,AICC; IYC President, Shri. Randeep Singh Surjewala, PYC Chief, Shri Ratnkar Pandey, Shri Mani Shankar Pandey and a number of senior state leaders addressed the rally.
