Construction of Streets
Since 1st March, 2005 till date, 885 nos. of C.C. streets / C.C. paver block streets have been constructed in different villages of Kaithal Assembly Constituency with a cost of Rs.1,960 lakh. 75 no. brick paved streets have also been constructed at a cost of Rs.91.60 lakh. Thus, a total of 960 streets have been constructed with a total cost of Rs.2,051.60 lakh.
75 nos. of new streets with a cost of Rs.120 lakh lacs are presently under construction in different villages of Kaithal Assembly Constituency.
Construction Of Chaupals/Dharamshalas
Since 1st March, 2005 till date, 262 nos. of new Chaupals / Dharamshalas have been constructed in different villages of Kaithal Assembly Constituency with a cost of Rs.527 lakh. Out of these, 103 are SC Chaupals and 62 are BC Chaupals.
37 nos. of new Choupals / Dharamshalas with an estimated cost of Rs.68.77 lakh are presently under construction.
Model Villages
- Village Keorak has been made a model village. Over 350 nos. of streets have been constructed with C.C. paver blocks. Total money spent on the village is nearly Rs.750 lakh for this purpose.
- Village Khurana has also been made a model village. 125 nos. of streets have been constructed with a paver C.C. block. Money spent for this purpose is approximately Rs.230 lakh.
Village Road Connectivity
Many important village connectivity roads have been constructed, widened or upgraded. These are:

New Grain Market Kaithal
100 acres of land on Kaithal-Jind Road near Kaithal Drain is under acquisition by Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board for setting up of a Modern Grain Market as also Vegetable Market. Section IV & VI of Land Acquisition Act 1984 have been issued and award is likely to be announced soon.
This new Grain Market and Vegetable Market will give a big boost to agricultural economy of Kaithal area.
New Purchase Centres
Three new purchase centres have been sanctioned by Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board in Kaithal Assembly Constituency.
