NATIONAL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY PROJECTS – CREATION OF NEW MILESTONES OF PROGRESS.
At the time of constitution of Haryana on Ist November, 1966; State had only five National Highways with a length of 655.26 KMs. Presently, total number of National Highways in Haryana has increased to 14 with a total length of 1457 KMs.
MARCHING AHEAD – STRIDING FORWARD
North-South Corridor, Gurgaon-Faridabad Expressway, Rohtak-Bhiwani Highway, Ladwa-Yamuna Nagar Highway.
DECONGESTING CITIES – BY-PASSES
Haryana’s march towards urbanization has been phenomenal. Resultantly, need for creation of additional urban infrastructure and by-passes has been even more imperative.

Construction of historical milestones in construction of Railway Over Bridges(ROBs)/ Railway Under Bridges (RUBs)
NEW BRIDGES – LAMP POSTS OF CONNECTIVITY, COHESION AND COOPERATION
Since formation of Congress government in March, 2005 till July, 2011; State PWD has completed large no of construction and reconstruction of bridges.
PRADHAN MANTRI GRAMIN SADAK YOJNA (PMGSY) – EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION ON THE GROUND
Since inception of Congress government in March, 2005, State PWD has executed 291.25 KMs of road under PMGSY.
