Post Gujarat, BJP-VHP Combine are seeking to communally vitiate the atmosphere of State of Rajasthan with an eye on impending Assembly polls by Initiation of their 'Trishul Diksha Program; by Praveen Togadia. In this series, a BJP legislator with dubious criminal record even resorted to brandishing a 'Trishul' in the Rajasthan Assembly on 25th February.

We have started a series of divisional 'Chetna Rallies' to expose the classical BJP double speak on issues of 'National Security'. On 27th February, 2003 a massive rally was held at Kota, Rajasthan- Thousands of youth activists from all the districts enthusiastically participated. We pointed out the paralyzing incapacity of BJP led NDA regime to even defend places of worship, particularly gullible 'Shivbhakats' going on Amarnath yatra who have been shot under the nose of government - 'Trishul' being the symbol of Lord Shiva. Devotees at Raghunath temple, Vaishnodevi shrine, Akshardnam temple have met a similar fate. We pointed out that 'Lahore Bus Yatra', 'Kargill Will', 'Agra Summit', 'one way cease fire with Kashmiri militants', 'attacks on J&K Assembly, Red Fort, Indian Parliament' are but some glaring instances of weak-kneed will of BJP in defending 'National Honor'.

Besides IYC President, Mr. Randeep Singh Surjewala, PYC Chief; Sh. Ram Kishen Verna, Minister; Ms. Mamta Sharma, M.L.A. and Parliamentary Secretary, DCC Presidents and all senior leaders of the party participated.
