Encouraging Reponse to Massive Demonstration in Uttar Pradesh

With reference to the encouraging response from the movement started by Youth Congress in Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Senior leader of the party including Smt. Mohsina Kidwai, CWC member, PCC President, Shri Salman khursheed, CLP Leader, Shri Pramod Tiwari, Shri Ratnakar Pandey, Shri Shyam Lal Yadav, Shri Lokpati Tripati, Shri Charjit yadav, Shri Rajesh Mishra actively participated and blessed the movement.

As announced by Shri Salman Khursheed, PCC President and IYC President, Shri Randeep Singh Surjewala, all DCC's and DYC's staged demonstration and dharnas on 26th August, 2000 at all district headquarters of Uttar Pradesh.

Youth Congress had given a call for POORVANCHAL BANDH on 29th August, 2000 in support to IYC President, Shri Randeep Singh Surjewala's demands. He assured Hon'ble President Congress, Smt. Sonia Gandhi that IYC will continue in their endeavor in future with even more vigour.
