‘Jan Aakrosh Rally’, Jagadhari, Distt. Yamunanagar, Haryana

Continuing our ‘Oust Chautala Campaign’, Youth Congress held a major ‘Jan Aakrosh Rally’ at the small rural based town of Jagadhari, Distt. Yamunanagar, Haryana on 6th October, 2003.

Presenting a ‘Chargesheet’ against Lokdal government of the state, we pointed out that nearly 42,000 jobs have been lost only in the Government Departments and State owned Boards/Corporations since the coming into power of Sh. Om Prakash Chautala. We pointed out the policy of systematic discrimination being perpetuated in terms of supply of electricity, canal water, recruitment in government jobs etc. . To top it all, whole of state is mired in a stinking web of corruption under protection of Chief Minister and his sons.

Thousands of ruralites, youth, traders, poor and women participated. Besides the IYC President, Sh. Randeep Singh Surjewala, a number of former legislators and office bearers of PCC, DCC and frontal organizations participated.
