'Jan Aakrosh' Rally cum Public meeting in Raipur, Chattisgarh

Youth Congress organized a massive 'Jan Aakrosh' rally cum public meeting in Raipur, Chattisgarh on 28th May, 2003.

About 10,000 enthusiastic youth gathered at Gandhi Chowk near Congress office and went around the state capital to the beat of drums and carrying Congress flags and banners denouncing the central government for its weak kneed policies, compromise on National Security and anti-youth - anti farmer policies. Rally drew an outstanding response from the people across the city with shopkeepers and residents coming out and joining our boys. This rally merged into a massive public meeting at Rajiv Chowk. Midway through the rally, IYC president, Sh. Randeep Singh Surjewala and PYC Chief were joined by the Chief Minister, Sh. Ajit Jogi, PCC Chief, Sh. Ramanuj Yadav and cabinet ministers, who all seemed to intermittently merge into the enthusiasm of Youth Congress cadre.
