Massive Protest Against BJP Government

Youth Congress launched a country-wide massive protest on 3rd July, 2000 against BJP Government for attempting to cause a second partition of the country by encouraging separatist tendencies as also demanding a ban on Bajrang Dal, VHP and RSS for attacking minorities and creating communal tension and for lodging false cases. IYC President, Mr. Randeep Singh Surjewala and dozen other colleagues were released on bail after 3 days of judicial custody in Tihar Jail.

A demonstration was also held in front of BJP's central headquarters in New Delhi.
