Peaceful Dharna Outside VHP's Headquarters

BJP, VHP, RSS and Bajrang Dal have perennially promoted themselves as sole protector of Indian Culture, ethics and value system.

Narender Modi - Praveen Togadia and Co's recent remarks have buried those values in a blackhole of filth and abuse.

Youth Congress replied with utmost restraint, decorum and dignity in the Gandhian way. We held a peaceful 'Dharna' outside VHP's headquarters at New Delhi on 19th October, 2002. Incidentally, Shri praveen Togadia was present inside the VHP office at that time. Typical of VHP, he slipped out of the back door like a coward. IYC President Mr. Randeep Singh Surjewala and others were arrested and later released. Except for isolated instances, dharnas and demonstrations held by youth Congress all over the country were peaceful.
