'Quit BJP' Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Youth Congress launched its 'Quit BJP' campaign in Gujarat by holding a massive Rally in the traditional BJP bastion at Ahmedabad, which was attended by about 20,000 youth from all over the State.

Besides Sh. Randeep Singh Surjewala, President, IYC, Rally was presided over by Shri Shanker Singh Vaghela, PCC Chief and other senior leaders i.e. Shri Amar Singh Chaudhary, Smt. Urmilaben Patel, Shri Naresh Rawal, Shri Narharibhai Amin and others.

We highlighted the all round failure of Modi led BJP Government, particularly its failure to fulfil the most popular promise of providing unemployment allowance to the youth despite successive promises by Keshubhai Patel and Narender Modi inside and outside the Assembly. We also brought out the indiscriminate manner in which thousands of youth languish in jails in aftermath of Gujarat violence while the actual perpetrators of crime are occupying positions of power even today.
