'Raj Dharma' 'Protest March' to Prime Minister's House

Media expose of six Union Ministers in seeking undue favour and bribes from Chiefs of Public Sector undertakings has exposed the stench of corruption that has plagued every organ of Vajpayee government. Half hearted denial by Cabinet Secretariat and lame duck explanation of Prime Minister compared with categorical reassertion by CVC of having brought specific instances of bribery to the government much beyond the six Union Ministers involved.

Demanding that Shri Vajpayee follows the ‘Raj Dharma’ by disclosing the names of six tainted ministers, drops them from cabinet and register criminal cases againstthem under prevention of Corruption Act, Youth Congress held a ‘Protest March’ to Prime Minister’s House on 11th November, 2003

Amongst heavy police barricading, youth volunteers led by the IYC President, Shri Randeep Singh Surjewala were stopped at Parliament House intersection. We were arrested, taken to Parliament Street Police Station and released a few hours later. Youth Congress has decided to take this ‘movement against corruption’ across the country.
