Trichur Rally, Kerala

Taking a cue from Gujarat, BJP and its allies have started their sinister plan to communally polarize rest of the country, particularly in Southern India where they have virtually no foothold. PM's Goa speech, RSS's Bangalore resolution, Tamil Nadu CM's legislation on religious conversions and RSS-BJP's attempts to arouse Hindu sentiments in Kerala are but part of the same chain of events.

As part of our campaign against design of divisive communal forces, we held another youth rally at Trichur, Kerala on 25th October 2002. Besides Mr. Randeep Singh Surjewala,IYC President; State PYC Chief and IYC General Secretary, Sh. V K Sreekandan; it was attended by Senior Congress Functionaries including Sh. Jose, MP; Sh. K Shankarnarayanan, Finance Minister; Sh. Therambhil Rama Krishnan, MLA; Sh. K P Vishwanathan, MLA; Sh. M K Paulson, MLA; Sh .A P Anil Kumar, MLA; Sh. Jose Kattokkaran, Mayor and others.
