UTI Scam Agitation, Bhopal

As a follow-up of the call given by Hon'ble Congress President, Smt. Sonia Gandhi to stem out corrupt NDA govt. responsible for duping gullible innocents of thousands of crores in UTI Scam, securities Scam and a series of scams; Indian Youth Congress has launched a countrywide agitational programme.

On 17th August, 2001; Youth Congress held a massive Gherao and Rally outside U.T.I. Office in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh demanding registration of F.I.R.'s and arrest of Union Finance Minister, Union Information and Technology Minister, Prime Minister's foster son-in-law and senior officials of Prime Minister's Office and Finance Ministry against whom prima-facie material is available on the record in shape of influencing investment decisions including statements of arrested U.T.I. Chief.

PCC Chief - Shri Radhakrishan Malviya, Indian Youth Congress Shri Randeep Singh Surjewala and a number of senior leaders and M.L.A.'s attended the Gherao cum Rally.
